H.E.L.M.E.T.

My unwavering goal is to share my story and spread helmet safety awareness to as many individuals as possible. Because I had not been wearing a helmet while longboarding, my life changed in an instant. I suffered a traumatic brain injury which resulted in a physical disability that has lasted over a decade. To this day, there are no approved treatments for 100% recovery….but I am hopeful for the future.    

  I am very fortunate and grateful to be alive and have the chance to share my story. I'm taking a tragic situation and transforming it into a positive opportunity to spread helmet safety awareness. I hope to make a difference in many lives. But even if it's just one life I impact or save, my purpose will have been served.
